What Polycut does

Polycut generates short-form video advertisements from a product URL you supply, using synthetic presenters and generated speech. Generation is paid for in prepaid credits.

Your content

You must have the right to use the product pages, copy and images you submit. You are responsible for what you advertise and for the claims your ads make.

The videos you generate

You own the videos you generate, subject to the presenter licence covering the presenter they feature. Presenters are licensed synthetic stock, and those licences restrict some uses — for example resale of a presenter's likeness as a standalone asset. Ask us before a use you are unsure about.

Acceptable use

Do not use Polycut to produce content that is illegal, deceptive, defamatory, sexual, or that impersonates a real person. Do not present a synthetic presenter as a real customer or a real endorsement. Disclosure obligations for synthetic presenters vary by platform and by country and meeting them is your responsibility.

Accounts

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. If we close your account without cause, we refund unused credits.

No warranty

The service is provided as is. We do not warrant that generated output will be fit for any particular campaign, that it will be accepted by any advertising platform, or that it will perform in any way.

Liability

Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost advertising spend or lost revenue.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and any dispute arising from them belongs to the state or federal courts sitting in Delaware.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email to the address on your account.
